The innovative idea works, but they never mention about going off road with it or the un-simplistic issue of boost/exhaust leaks you'll get if anything the turbo is working with doesn't mate up right.

if you streach out all the tubing, including the core for a fmic, i bet its the same distance + or -

^ i dont think the STS thing has a IC. 7-10 psi is a little much to be running un intercooled.

^i know that, i said if you take all the piping from a front mount and include the lengh of the core of your FMIC, the length of the tubing in both cenarios would be around the same length...

You can get 140 hp in a more "conventional" way too tho.
I know yr gonna hate this but... I think Fong is right on point. I'd want at least a skid guard and SS piping with painted welds or something like that down there. Not hard to do but more work than just "slapping on a bolt on system" as advertised.
Also, how is the turbo being oiled? I might have missed something here and I'm no expert, but dont you usually want to use gravity or a resevoir/pump system to circulate and drain oil thru it?

This thing is "under $4000"? for "under $4000" you can get a WAY better setup and install in under 8 hours too...

1badz32 had a rear mount turbo on his last setup. I think he put down around 530rwhp with his setup with leaky exhaust. Theres a fair ammount of Fbody guys that use it too. Its WAY over priced but overall I dont think its a bad option.

its wierd, when my buddy first explained how a turbo actually worked to me like 7 years ago when i was a newb, i actually pictured something like this before i actually saw what he was talking about. He explained it was spun by exhuast, and i instinctively just thought it was near the muffler and the air was piped all the way back up to the engine lol.

If only i woulda marketed it then......
