So I am looking for Office 2007 and a form of Photoshop (maybe lightroom), came across this http://theultimatesteal.com/home.asp# but can't figure out how to get that specific deal. College guys I need your help.
http://www.academicsuperstore.com/ This is where I went when I was in school. I had to verify my student status by scanning and emailing my student ID.
What can't you figure out? You enter your e-mail address from your school account, if it's a recognized (by MS) institution, they tell you so and e-mail you a link and a password. You log into that link using that password, add the product to your cart, enter credit info and they send you a key and a link to d/l the software. That's it. If it won't accept your email address, then MS isn't offering it to your school. Some schools do make the MS software available for next to nothing anyhow. If you can't figure out the link they sent you, you should talk to them.
^ Thanks Vector!!! No the package on the cover is not the one inside after they give you the password and what not.
In what way? They Show Office Ultimate and that's what you get a license for. Or at least when i put in my info that's what happens... It's a little more than the $59.99 because they charge sales tax in MN, but that's the only difference I see.
dude just get OpenOffice if you want Office It's the opensource version of 'microsoft office' it can open all the same files, and save it to all the correct files http://www.openoffice.org/ It can do everything Office can, except it's free... For your photoshop problem, also going the opensource route, i recommend The Gimp, http://www.gimp.org/ Very user friendly (more so than PS that's for sure). Yea, anyway I recommend them both for your software needs.
Ultimate has: Outlook with Business Contact Manager instead of just Outlook Groove OneNote Pro Plus doesn't have those, but does have Communicator which Ultimate doesn't. Which seems odd, but whatever. Both have the stuff that 99.9% of people will use. Your school must not be in the full program. :???:
or just download a trial version, then find a serial number...duh Seriously, opensource (like StartRestart said) is the way to go if your looking to not pay a penny.
