I have been thinking about buying Subaru bucks and i called Morrie's and they said i can only spend my own..

If thats the case why are people selling them? Am i missing something?

I want to buy some... but not if i cant use them...

If you come into parts here at Morries Minnetonka Subaru with Subaru Bucks you can use them towards anything.

The name on the Bucks HAS TO match your ID. Other dealers may not care. But thats the rules from Subaru and Chase.

I know chase doesn't sell them. People on nasioc sell their Subaru bucks for 60% of there value. I thought it might be a good oppurtunity to get parts for cheaper. But it's not allowed, so problem solved.

But there's nothing stopping the named owner of some Subie Bucks from going into a dealership and buying items requested by somebody else, and then transferring them to said 3rd party for a pre-agreed sum that is proportional to the face value of the aforementioned Subie Bucks. And 60% seems kind of low; they used to go for 75% of the face value.

Ya, i see a little of both. I wish they were transferable.. with my club discount and buying subie bucks off people that dont want them i could get some pretty cheap parts!!

Get the Chase Subaru Mastercard and you earn 3% back on every purchase. Every time you get a $100 in rewards, Chase sends you it in check for $100 in bucks.

I've pretty much done it both ways. You either need to find a dealer that will look the other way or work with the person selling the bucks to buy/ship parts to you. Good deals to be had if you can make it work.
