Since we are all awaiting the fresh air that comes with summer I wanted to take a moment and share what I like about summer, feel free to add your own. Oh and I know there is already a thread about this but I would like this one to stay CLEAN! KTHX! Yeah shootin hoops at the park, damn I forgot about that. Fishin off the dock, camp fires, smores, hot dogs on the fire. Winter SUCKS!
swimming, warm spots in the lake make me giggle volley ball, I'm too short to spike anything but I do love setting. fishing, if you put the bait on it I will catch a fish. camping, don't see too much of it happening this summer since Fob's is scurd of the yetis. Firestone, good in the summer as it is in the winter. sandals It's not too cold to work on the car lemonade is twice as good. picnics/bbq's como zoo
waking up at 7:30 and the sun is past the horizion women and the legs come out from hibernation fishing at night in the cool river water washing my car outside cutting grass and the smell of it sun tea

winter does not suck, you just need an outdoor hobby you like, then it's much better. however, i do agree summer is by far the superior season. Even though it's too short up here. In the summer i like breakdance rollerskating backwards down the street while throwing a comb through my hair... for the ladys of course. I also like freeride mountain biking...which chet I'm gonna drag you out into the woods on a trail this year. you will earn the way of the mountain bike! i also like cruizing on a long trip out west to the mountains at high rates of speed (speed limit is 80 out there) in the wrx. camping up north, grilling, drinks on the deck, wearing shorts, sandals, and tee shirts not paying to heat the garage everytime i'm out there list goes on...
They have decent mountain biking in this state? Maybe I'll have to ship the bike from CA. Somethingt I don't like: Heat is part of the rent A/C is not At least I have AC I guess

+2 on the white pants. Grilling all the time, sweet corn, being able to wrench in the driveway, drowning minnows, I'm going to miss summertime in Duluth. It seriously cannot be beat.
Sleeping with the windows open, fresh air coming in. I hate AC. I use it maybe 2 days, and only if I'm dying of heat. I LOVE fresh air flowing through the house. Bicycling. Gardening. Green things growing. Driving with the windows down. Summer tires that handle WAY better than Blizzaks. Daylight until 9 PM. The smell in the air after a thunderstorm.
wakeboarding. cruising. fresh warm air...yum grilling hangin out with friends chilling in canal with anyone who owns a car

Margaritas and beers on teh deck t3hw00t get togethers in the garage with more beer car projects mowing the lawn (till about august) fresh air and NO air conditioning waking up to the sun, getting drowsy an hour or two after hte sun sets Cruising the freeway with all 4 windows down and the rock n' roll cranked.

yes, there's plenty of mountain biking around here, but most of the good trails are either hidden or over run by spandex wearing xc racer type mountain bikers. However, I will tell you this....it's been the job of MY fat butt to slow people down on the XC so I welcome another to join me. can't wait for summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's fine. my snowboard has a fresh wax job on it and I will have no problem heading out west again for some backcountry snowboard adventures. this was 04/06/08 in cody bowl near Jackson Hole.

Summer nights at the lake. Once the sun goes down and the bugs go to sleep it's awesome to sit out and talk and drink in front of a small fire. The soft warm breezes that cool you off just enough to make you think about putting on a sweatshirt but instead cuddling up with someone you like. Looking at the stars and throwing rocks in the still lake, or maybe even lighting off some fireworks... just because. Long road trips across the US when it is balls-ass hot with the AC blasting and when it gets too cool the opening the windows and letting the hot air warm you up. Playing with my kids at the pool while I'm scoping out Maple Grove and Plymouth's finest young mothers. "Oh, hi. It seems that my kids are playing with your kids. Oh you say you're not married? Well I am but in an alternate reality I would seriously think about taking you to the deep end and... whoops. This is my wife. Isn't she pretty? Gotta go." Spending the lion's share of Saturday outside washing and waxing the car while the kids run rampant through the yard. Squirting them with the hose and getting into a water fight. When Jenn comes outside nailing her with the hose even though I know it will piss her off. Fireworks off the deck on the fourth of July. Playing 'Who can explode the most illegal stuff' with the neighbor across the lake. He wins because that dude has mad cash, a raft full of timing fuse and $500-1000 in fireworks, and he takes two days off of work prior to the fourth to prep his display. But I make a good showing because I launch all mine off the deck which is about 40 vertical feet higher than his. Going over my next door neighbor's house on the 5th to help him clean all the wreckage out of his pool. Driving at Brainerd. Taking the weekend off to drive a couple thousand miles to see some friends.
