I am looking to replace my RE070's and was wondering what others were running. I am not really happy with the Potenza's right now.

From what I've read 070s are pretty much the best tire you can put on the STi. Uber sticky and a extra stiff sidewall. For the price the Azenis RT-615s seem to be popular as well.

The Falkens are what I was looking at, I just have not used the new style. As far as not being happy about, two failures in one year and a bulge appearing on a 3rd (wasn't there when I put them away last year). I have never been a bridgestone/firestone fan, but this hasn't helped. I may have had a bad batch.

I just bought a new set of RE070's for this summer. I absolutely love mine.

Go with the falkens, you will not be displeased.
if you really wanna get agressive, you should have little to no problem shoving 235/40-17 on to your stock wheels.
