Tranny drain plug? If so, most can use a 1/2" breaker bar, otherwise a t60 works and is easier to find in stores. Pretty sure Nuke has a t60 laying around.
the auto transmission on the car is a regular bolt/plug...so no worries there. The front diff plug/bolt is flat and only way to get it out is a torx. stupid autos.....
I have a T70, come borrow it. I bought it thinking everyone would need it, and nobody has needed it yet.
We will be at MTKA tonight too, so if you want to pick it up at the dealership, i'll throw it into my jacket pocket right now.
deal...thx a ton jason. what time will you be there? I can bring it back to FS tomorrow night...if you're there
i just caught that...damn it...I thought today was thursday. Man this has been a long work week already:emo:. I meant Friday
yeah we have 50-70 of them in stock. 9.99 sorry about the no call back...i get so many dang vmails everyday its very hard to keep up.
We will probably get to MTKA around 5pm. That's the hope at least. PM me a phone number, I gotta run to Lakeville. I'll call you when we are leaving for MTKA (usually takes us about 45 min to get there) and we can meet up.
is my wrx the only one in the world with a regular rear diff style drain plug???!!! I replaced mine last year and used a 1/2 drive socket head to take it off...
I know I said I HAVE a diff style drain plug for my TRANNY drain plug, just put a 1/2 inch socket head in there and turn, no need for a torx bit
I was inquiring about the front diff. not the rear diff or the tranny. front diff is torx only
Wow, how'd you manage a quadruple post? Attempting to break the internet space-time continuum? Ah, now I see you were asking about the auto.
Dave, gimme a call if you need it. I'm home in 23 minutes, I'll be around all night. You've got the number in the contact list. Swing by anytime.
If you have one nearby, CarQuest can get them and they're only about 7 bucks. That's where I got mine. They might have to special order it but it usually only takes a couple days to get it. -Steve
