I am so confused about these clamps and there specifications. Im looking to buy some clamps for my car but primarily for my samco turbo inlet hose. the turbo is 2.4 inlet in diameter so im guessing that the samco inlet has a diameter of roughly 2.4 in or about 60mm. I'm primarily looking at HPS and when i look at a clamp for 60mm the clam shows it only has a affective range of 67mm - 73 mm. it seems like it would be to big. I don't want to start shelling out money and getting the wrong size clamps. anyone have and insight for me? or know what I specifically need.

The 2.4" is going to be the inside diameter of the hose, meaning that clamp is still probably just a bit too big. I would (and did) save myself the trouble and just use regular worm clamps on the intake side.

If that happens, you are tightening them too hard.

If I leave it loose then ill have a leak. To tight and ill rip into the hose and and that's money lost

Aquanet and electrical tape, fella. Wrap about 3 times around the outside of the pipe where you are going to put the clamp, and spray the inside edge with Aquanet. Slip it on, tighten the hose clamp. 3 wraps of electrical tape should keep it from biting the outside edge.

I am running a 4" intake that is good for 500+whp...with worm clamps. I was worried about leaks for a hot second, but then I realized that I had a cone filter as big as my head at the end of it, and if that isn't a leak, idk what is.
