Tapatalk (http://tapatalk.com) is an iPhone app for viewing message boards. Basically, if you've ever tried to browse to a forum via mobile Safari on the iPhone, you know it sucks to navigate. And that's an understatement.

Tapatalk puts everything into easy views (http://tapatalk.com/iphone/) and is free for the forum owners (http://tapatalk.com/plugin/) to install.

Just wondering if this is something that you guys have heard of, or have considered. I think it would be super handy, personally, but I'm not sure how many members on here, or viewers, own iPhones.

I know there are already a lot of Automotive forums using it, specifically NASIOC has installed the Tapatalk plugin. (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/announcement.php?f=24)

The app for the user end, is $2.99. But I have purchased it and trust me, it's well worth it. The interface of a forum as an iPhone app is amazing. To be more specific, it's awesome to have, ehhem, when you are in the bathroom. Also on road trips when you are in the passenger seat. Or anywhere you might not have a computer, but want to check out the forums.

Just something I'm throwing out there incase you guys haven't heard of it.

It's awesome, and free for the forum owners. I think it'd be super handy.

So this is only for iphones? What about the rest of us? I know that mnsubaru does not work on my phone.

    However

this would work on all phones, and is already built into the site, just needs the mod to work.

Still, a pretty neat idea if you have an iphone. :)

I've seen vbulletin sites with mobile browser friendly versions before.

mnsubaru works just fine on my 3 year old razr though.

Yea, it is. Well, iPhones and iPod Touches. So it would be a bit limited. But I just thought since it was free and easy to incorporate, it might be doable.

Maybe we should add a poll to this thread, iPhone vs non-iPhone users?

    I don't know, just a thought.

If you run windows mobile 6.1 or 6.5 or symbian. Just run Skyfire. it's free, has flash support, runs just like your home computer or laptop. It works even with wells fargo account and you can watch youtube videos...
