Most of the guys on here are running the td06-20g, so you might have trouble getting any response.

I got one. Love it. spools around 36-38 with an aps tmic. And my rex is an auto, so it holds boost through shifts :)

What motor are you using again? 2.2 correct? The TD06 is what Pete is running right now, not sure if you have rode in his car? Spools really fast imo. Evan's car is running the same turbo on his 2.0 and its kind of laggy but once it hits your off. I suggest you get a ride in both cars.

    What are your power goals?

yep. looking for good option for the 2.2l. i did ride in petes car, ands it great. i am just concerned about the spool up on teh td06 with the 2.2l. cuase doesnt pete hit boost at like 4ish?

as for power 300+whp is the goal area.

Ide go for a 18G or a TD05 20G then. Both will spool FAST and net you your 300whp goal. You plan on running a TMIC or FMIC?

Better yet, what you should do Martin is look at both Evan and Pete's dyno sheets to see where power is made UNDER the curve. Too often, people get hooked on the "Peak HP @ ??? RPM" part of the curve. Your best bet for figuring out what a turbo can do for you is to get a stock WRX plot + a stock STi plot and then one of a WRX w/ 20G and one of an STi w/ 20G. Lay them over the top of eachother then draw a line in between each of their lines. That is about where you'll be. The cool thing is, you can probably find that information since we have a 2.0L with a 20G and a 2.5L with a 20G in our club. Pay particular attention to where and when power is made before peak...that will tell you alot about how a car will run.

^ good thinkin. i will have to start buggin peope for some dyno sheets.

issue is that most poeple are running the td06 20g and i am looking more owards the td05 20g. so it may be harder to find dyno sheets.

ohh and i would like to be able to stick with a TMIC.

do you have any dyno plots for you car with the 20g? i would like to see how the 20g works with the 2.0l compared to the 2.5l.
