    well here is the finished project of the rs.... and a couple before pics too

    i'm pretty pleased with the end result, but then again just about anything was better then what it was, anyone that saw the clear coat flaking off everywhere on the car can probably attest to that

    I dig it. The grille matching the wheels is kinda cool.

    I'm considering doing this to my wagon, since I've got some stubborn sap spots eating through the clear on my hood & roof... :( I'd probably go with black gloss, though.

    bilk - yes it does, but its going down the road to make room for a forester so no more moneys is going into it

    lee - thats angie, she looks manlier and less prego in the daylight

    I think it'd look even better if the entire car was that satin color..

    are you spraying any coats of clear, or was this a one stage paint with sealer? I havent had the time to follow your project very closely.
