Black car + rain = mad waterspots. Other than that, it was pretty cool. :)

I thought it was a real show of power. Loved it. We need a couple more just like it so that we can green up the foliage around here.

I couldnt sleep very well because every time I'd doze off it would CRASH right outside my window. I ended up just getting up and poking around mnsubaru at about 3am...haha

I loved it for sure. I woke up and checked the radar. It definitely showed some power for wind. I wasn't so worried about hail, but the winds, sweetness.

    <-- has a degree in meteorology :)

3:20am there was a bright flash and an immediate bang. A big bang. Then our power went out.

I went back to sleep and when I woke up the power was back on. I like storms.

We must have lost power for at least a little while, because the kitchen computer rebooted (only one not on UPS). There's a tree branch broken off in our neighbor's backyard, though still hung up in the tree.

I guess my brother in law has been without power since last night and isn't expected to get it back very soon. I should see how the storm was at my parents where I just put in a bunch of new windows.

Yesterday we had 1-1.5" hail out here. Was fun to watch knowing the family was safe in the house.

It didn't storm here as bad as other places. I enjoyed it even though I had to pick up a bunch of broken tree branches around the yard and the pool's chemicals got all messed up so no swimming for a a few days. You live in New Brighton?

Last night the lightning was intense. I sat out on the deck for about an hour watching the lightning in the sky (no cloud-to-ground). Crazy.

Then it got really calm. Then it rained to beat all hell. Our lake is starting to fill back up, now. That is good.

My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
We got hammered last night. I ran fire calls non stop from 11pm to 2 am, then I ran 2 more between 3-6 am. Needless to say I'm a bit sleepy at the moment. We had everything from fire alarms to lighting struck houses to a full blown house fire to respond to.

It was pretty spectacular though ;)
