I finally got the RS activities done.... New lat link bushings (along with a few bolts/nuts :( ) and squeezed the 245/45-17 V710s mounted on 17x8 et48 wheels onto the car, as well!

Major pain in the arse, but I think it will work. Had to get 5mm spacers to clear the coilovers...went through several new wheel studs trying to get extended ones in. :( I think it was due to the cheap lugs I used to pull them in. The threads broke on two and disintegrated on another. No impact wrench used (exept the last one since I already knew what I was in for)... I had to cut one off when I was using the fender roller! I could see a piece of the threads jammed into the nut after I cut it off. The roller didn'r cooperate too well, either. Left with a bit of a strange shape. :p

Anyway, there is about 2-3mm of clearance with the strut...barely made it.

Don't mind the RR damage...someone backed into me as I was sitting in my car! Grrrrr...

I can't wait to see how it performs this weekend. Any chance of getting a ride during fun runs (if they have them)?

Despite being "DOT Approved" they are in fact meant for competition only.

Chin, what kind of wheels are those. They look like Prodrive, but so many aftermarket Subie wheels do these days.

Well..... Ran into an issue during the test run this eve... :( The bolts at the strut/hub interface slipped! I now have a grove on the sidewall of the tire. :( !!! I hope it holds up. I also hope that doesn't slip again! I can't get any more torque on it, and it hasn't slipped before. I hope I didn't just trash a $200 tire!

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

And then you parked it on a gravelly driveway ! I hope that all that crap brushes off before tomorrow's fun. Actually, if it does rain, you might want to keep a bit of it on there.

Bah! I already took it out to heat cycle the tires.... That is when I had the issue with the hub/strut. At least I didn't wait to find it until Sat. I would have been done for the day.

If it rains a lot, I will be on the MXs...I really hope I don't need to, however.
