Just found out I have to have half my thyroid taken out, I guess its pretty common? Anybody have there thyroid removed? :ugh:
My mom has hers either entirely removed or something of the sorts. She takes meds and is fine. Been this way since I was born, you could say I caused it  I still find you sexually attractive dream. I love you as well.
A co-worker has a thyroid issue and my mother has a thyroid issue. Not sure if that makes it common. The co-worker refuses to have the thyroid removed, my mom did not refuse, but wished she did refuse. The meds are not working so she is in pretty sorry shape now. I would suggest getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion.
I've had pain in my throat now for about 2 years. Had a CT scan and they found lumps causing my air way to be slightly blocked. I also have been feeling sluggish as well, no energy. So they think this is the cause as well. lol, love you too pal! My mom had her's partially removed as well when she was 24 (she's now 60) and my sister had hers removed as well. So it runs in the family. Well, I have had 3 doctors (including ENT specialists) tell me the same thing, plus im having a hard time breathing sometimes a lot of pain. What kind of problems is your mom having?
Sound like you have your bases covered on 2nd and 3rd opinions. Headaches (in bed all day) Weight loss (unhealthy amounts) No energy Thinning hair (I think this pisses her off the most) I'm sure she doesn't tell me everything. You have a huge advantage over her though, you are young.
From the reasearch I have done, it sounds like her thyroid isnt producting the right amount of hormones (or lack of thyroid). I know it took my mom almost 3 month for them to get the med level right. All those symptoms you expained are signes of improper levels. But im sure she knows that already.....
Yeah, she's been to the doctors many times over the past 3 years trying to get her meds right. I hope you have an easier time.
