Tint [on] my ride

Roomie did it, looks real decent!

Also, gave it a wash so now she's sexi.
While I was washing it I noticed some red metallics mixed in with the black paint. Looks pretty nice Just wondering if all Subarus sport the same black paint?

Well i'm no longer the only Black Diamond Pearl. There are other black colors for subaru also.

 

looks very sexy. are you at 30% tint? Lookout for the vehicle inspectors they already got me 1 time for $125.

 

nice tint one question. can the inspectors get you if the car is on a trailer? we got pulled over and the cop gave us a warning because we had a 04 malabu with 10% on the flatbed.

No I don't think they can get you for tint if your trailering a car. Just like if you have slicks on your car, while it's on a trailer.

 

i dont see how you can get a ticket for anything on a car on a trailer.

they can do it, especially if it's registered in the state. I got a tint warning in MY DRIVEWAY.

 

wow. oh well, i will not take my tint off ever. keeps the interior cool when parked in the sun for sure.

you can get a written letter for anything on a trailer... we got a warning for not having a mustang licensed on a trailer within 2 days of it being parked.

Yes, I have Obsidian black pearl, which I like the most (it goes well with purples)

 

I'm not sure what color I'ma do the wheels yet but I'm not really thinking gold at this point..maybe though..when my taste matures I need to look around and get ideas.

Yea, that's 30% and I really like that it's just black, no grey undertone or other chamelion looking effects.

I used my blowdryer and a credit card and it was SO HARD to get it off. I got it all off one side and am working on the other but it took almost as long to get it off the one side as it did to do the tint...

Now there are goopies and I wonder if goo gone is safe to use on the paint?

 

As far as I know, yes, you can use it and it shouldn't mess up the paint. I used the goo gone spray for my stickers on the wagon, and nothing scratched (though it was a bitch to get the stink off my hands afterword - that stuff reeks)

And I think that gold wheels would look pretty good on that car. I'm not a fan of gold wheels, either :laugh:

but also, dark steel/gunmetal would be good too hell, even RED haha
