Tire discount

Did anything ever happen with the 10-20% off at Discount tires in Plymouth. I seen someone talking about but it just went away.

 

hmm i work at the discount tires in minnetonka and i never heard of that. It could very well be true. if you want a discount just come to the minnetonka store and tell them you know andrew and they will hook you up

The 10-20% was through me and sevenrex's friend Tom at discount tire in plymouth. It is still good, just no one has taken advantage of it.

He is a store manager for them and CAN get you big discounts on both wheels, tires, and possibly even help you out with installation.

 

Cool discount tire is good stuff from my experince, they matched tire rack's prices on my latest set of tires, saved me $70 or so, and much easier than having them shipped and bringing them in to get them mounted.

Then I gotta find either another set of rims/tires or just tires for winter, lol. Anyone have an extra set of '06 WRX rims for cheap? hehehe.

 

huh, MNAudi used to get a discount at discount tire....but then something happened (don't ask me what, I don't remember), and it went away. rumor was, they would no longer allow any discounts or deals....

I bought my Azenis at the Eden Prairie Discount Tire last month. After a little haggling, they came down to within ~$6 of the Vulcan Tires price.

They started out by taking the Vulcan price for the tyres+shipping and then adding tax. I argued, they relented, final OTD price was Vulcan's tyres + Vulcan's shipping + ~$6. I think I got a pretty good deal, and I paid taxes into the local economy instead of further lining FedUPS' pockets.

If you're going to do this, take a printout from you cart for Vulcan or Edge Racing. These two are very close on price, and which one is cheaper often depends on the size tyre you're shopping for.

Damn pothole took out one of my stock re92s. They have about 25k on them so I'm thinking of replacing all 4 with falken ziex 512.

 

I buy my tires from VulcanTire.com If it's other brands, I'd have to buy them here somewhere....

 

Im wondering on the discount to, I need summer tires, my girlfriend needs summer tires and my dad needs summer tires.

Anyone have a favorite summer tire thats sticky for a road tire? I have the Bridgestone SO3s which are really nice performance tires but they tend to walk allover the place and pull the car back and forth in grooves. Time for something else with super grip.

i went into plymouth discount tire on monday and asked about the discount fot the..."Club" Mr. freese was not in at the time and they said that no one from the club has came in to get a discount for a long time. They said they are doing discounts for the vette club, and probably could do something for us. But looks like we should call and try to work things out for a discount before the spring if anyone is interested. I should of asked how much they could do a mount and balance though.

 

Does Discount Tire get Kosei wheels? I want a set of K3's in silver. 17x7 for a subaru, naturally.
