Does any one know of a good relaible place to get tires switched out( tires mounted on rims), I called Tires Plus and $82 dollars seems really high for mounting and balance, every year I do it its a different price, I had 20"s remounted on my truck 2 years ago and it cost $32 at the same tires plus.

If you buy the tires from them and have them mount it, it is cheaper...$8-$10ea. But if u don't they can charge up to $20 a peice for it...If you don't give them the business to begin with, you lose the benefit.

I bought the tires from Mories BP and they offer non of the frills that go with buying tires, I got them cheaper than anywhere else but I assumed that the lifetime balancing, rotating, etc. would come with it. And you know what happens when you assume. The money I saved would have been made up with a 1 tire rotation.

82 OTD isn't bad. last time I used Tires Plus they price matched the local Firestone at 15 a tire.

Fleet Farm has done decent by me. Othewise, check with the small local shops (like gas stations that do service). There's a BP by me that'll do it for around $10/tire if you catch them on a good day ($15 on a bad).

discount tire is pretty good, but as mentioned before, you have to give them business first
