I took some time today to finish painting my new winter wheels, even though I might not end up running them this winter... Anyway, here are some pics. I definately didn't do enough sanding, but good enough for me for winter rims.
haha, thats quite the change.... looks great. I wish I woulda primed and clearcoated mine when I painted them...
Well, I got my new winter tires mounted today. Turns out one of these wheels was bent. No visible damage to the lip or anything, but it wobbled and took 8 large weights to balance it. I was able to find another forester wheel at a junk yard today and get it remounted, but now I have three black and one silver wheel... I should have checked these rims before refinishing them.
Yeah, the yellow looked better on the previous car they were on. I decided I'd rather repaint the wheels than paint my car to look good with yellow wheels.
