    Has anyone used Tokico D-Specs?

Looking at running Tokico with STI 04 heavy springs B2010FE500 and 520, with Group N Hats. I know, "Go with Koni inserts", however I am told that I will not be able to get the Konis for a long time.

Does anyone know where I can get Koni inserts NOW?

I am working with CVR motorsports, not getting an answer on either question.

this is literally the worst time of year to order konis (beginning of race season)

Do you have a sedan or a wagon? If you have a sedan I'd go with v7-v9 STi takeoff struts and whatever spring you find suitable. for a wagon you have a lot more work to do, and if you want to do konis, be prepared for the amount of labor and maintenace they require and be aware that theyre really more of an advantage for racing than anything else.

I can't see why a street driver needs 16 way dampening adjustment when only one of the settings is the right one. If however you plan on racing the dampening adjustment can be used to tune out chassis stiffness at set speeds to suit the course and in this way are inherently better. Depends on what you want. Konis will run you $700 for the struts ? for the strut bodies you use and take about 4 hours to install. You need to be comfortable drilling out fluid filled struts, cutting them precisely and making sure its all tight, because if it isnt, the rattle will annoy you to death.

my current car is KYB AGX struts with prodrive springs and group N tops, fairly similar to what youre going for. I've had a Version 7 STi spec C type RA setup before and that was awesome, and is in fact cheaper than either one if you can find one.

    Shocks

It is a wagon and yes we will be doing a variety of race events. From track days at BIR to AutoX events, and home again to get groceries. I'm doing my best to find a compromise, street and track.

    Thanks for the response
