Essentially it is whats posted above.

    I have an MY99 2.5rs 5spd

When the clutch pedal is depressed and slowly released there is a point where I can get it to squeel. If I shift normally or quickly, the squeel is more of a squeek. at idle it can be faintly heard.

Low clutch fluid? I have heard rumors of recalls on rs tranni things. Slave or master cylinder?

Sound like a clutch throw out bearing, sorry but time to change you clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing.

belt tension is fine. The tranni was just recently rebuilt at 110k. car is at 120k. had a lightweight flywheel installed along with a new oem clutch.

This is all according to the previous owner who could be lying through his teeth to me though. this has nothing to do with low fluid?

the clutch feels fantastic. for me though it is almost every shift except for fourth, and fifth gear catches a little bit even if the clutch pedal is to the floor. I just manually synchro my 5th gear right now and its not much of a problem to not grind.

Its probably my throw out bearing like bikerboy said above, and I might see if I can bug fuji to do it for some money. We'll see what happens.

Also at idle a faint squeek can be heard. it does not effect rpms though.
