Another rally weekend. Will Pastrana be able to keep the shiny side up at this event. I was hoping he would show consistent speed so he could make the jump to WRC and we could have an American to cheer for in the series.(even tho the jerks don't televise it on Speed anymore)

Well I predict he hits a boulder. The roads in Maine are really dusty so it's hard to see - I can imagine he will have a tough time.

Besides the Speed channel...is there a place on this interweb to find live video coverage of the rally races???

Live, maybe if you pay at wrc.com for the WRC events.

Not quite live, you can find bittorrent shares of the WRC events pretty quick after an event.

At STPR Driving Sports had a live chat from STPR on their web site, along with some interviews and live footage before/during/after the event. I haven't seen that they will be at Main. But I followed along from work for STPR and it was pretty good. Definitely better than a black out.

I'm hoping they can make a habit of this kind of coverage.

I would enter into a heterosexual life-partnership with Pastrana. He's that cool.

    New England Rally

    No carnage today-
A couple of spectator stages, a high speed down and back stage
and then there was Concord Pond.
This stage is the last of the evening and is quite the rush.
It's getting dark as the sun is setting, you are deep in the woods,
and it is like racing down a twisty tunnel..

Tomorrows stages will be quite a bit rougher and there should be some attrition. We will be dodging a lot of semi-buried rocks.

Traivs has talent, but rides the edge to hard sometimes and loses his consistence. Big fan still.:)
