i never really got the whole trunk monkey thing, i guess i dont understand the need/want for a stuffed aniaml monkey on or in your trunk

 

I've had a trunk monkey in my car for the past 5 years. It's actually a curious george . The original purpose of the trunk monkey was to help reduce understeer. If you feed the monkey a proper diet of german crafted beer and other goodness the monkey will run from side to side of your trunk giving you the edge you needed to overcome understeer. And the best part is... IT WORKS!!!

Here's mine. I've had him in my last two cars for several years -- the bastard thieves who stole my GSR got lucky that my monkey was too drunk at the time to do anything. :lol:
