<center><font color="red"><font size="6">RELIEF</font id="size6"></font id="red"></center> <font color="red"><font size="3">Twin Cities’ club DJs come together to help tsunami relief efforts in South Asia</font id="size3"></font id="red"> <font color="green">The Twin Cities’ most venerable house and techno DJs along with Solera Restaurant and Event Center, have come together to organize a benefit for earthquake and tsunami survivors in South Asia. RELIEF takes place Friday, January 21 at Solera, located at 900 Hennepin Ave. in downtown Minneapolis. In the first event of its kind, over twenty of Twin Cities’ veteran club DJs and musicians will showcase their talents throughout the night to help raise funds for the relief efforts. Performers include 500 Internal, Big Mama J, Bryan Gerrard, ceebee, Chuck Love, David Drone, DeeJWood, DVS1, four feet, Giancarlo, Gigi, Jevne, Jobot, Jon Hester, Josh Thomas, Kostja, Monique, Monte Hilleman, Negative, Norton Fortune, Red Richard, Ryan Simatic, Tambuca, The Beat Rascal, Timmay and Vision. All net proceeds collected at the door will go to the World Health Organization’s South Asia Earthquake and Tsunami Fund. Suggested donation is $8. The World Health Organization supports the largest humanitarian relief operation in the aftermath of the Asian earthquake and tsunamis. More than five million people in the affected areas require emergency relief efforts as they lack access to the basic requirements they need to stay alive – clean water, adequate shelter, food, sanitation and healthcare. To address the public health needs over the next six months and respond to this major catastrophe, WHO urgently needs $66 million.
