Alright so my 2nd o2 Sensor is still disconnected will this be a problem if I am getting a protune? Will it affect WOT tuning?
Nope. the 2nd O2 sensor only monitors the efficiency of the catalytic converter. The first one is gold tho. EDIT: Except on the 32-bit ECUs in the 06+ WRX and such.
Oh, because Bullwinkle and Nuke said it effects 32bit ECU's fuel learning? But what if its just WOT Tuning? WOT only runs on the MAPS right?
Yes, it does affect fuel learning. You should be fine getting the car tuned without it connected, but I would not recommend running a 32bit car with it disconnected long term.
Oh yeah, I am still looking for that diagram for hooking up the Wideband to the ECU but I might have to pay $30 for that diagram. Planning on hooking it back up after the tune. If not I may put a 10K Ohm resistor or something like that I've seen before because as far as I know it only needs some sort of feedback from the rear o2 sensor.
You're talking about using an imput from an LC1 for the rear o2? Yeah, that can be done, but requires some wiring. Honestly, if your aim is to run a WB02 perm mounted, just get a bung welded to your DP and call it a day. The rear O2 is required on a 32bit ECU car, it is used to help moderate your mid/high range fuel trims.
wtf, you gotta pay for a manual to hook it up? see that yellow wire on the LC-1? iirc, you hook that up to the ecu (wire it where the rear o2 is suppose to be) i still suggest getting a bung welded on, only takes a few minutes for a welder (with you providing a bung)
OK, I'm just going to have a shop weld on another bung, maybe a few inches away from the rear o2 but back towards the turbo.... Where am I suppose to find a bung for someone to weld?
some shops might have some bungs, ask them. have it after the turbo, i believe about 10-12 inches away.
an exhaust shop should probly have one... Call up Tims Custom Exhaust in Coon Rapids, i have had great experience wit him! he does good work at a good price!
Oh will do! I will give them a call need it installed before the tune lol I'm checking out their reviews, all positive XD(Accidentally stumbled upon)
