I know this isnt the right spot to post but oh well.

I started my snowmobile today and noticed there was some oil where the airfilter hooks to the turbo. I shut it off and wiped it up and then ran it again and there was a little less the 2nd time. Would bad seals cause oil to push out there or could it be from so leftover oil in the intercooler when I flipped it last year. There doesnt seem to be much shaft play.

    Turbo is a garrett 2560r

Remove the intercooler and all the pipes to the turbo. Clean them and reinstall. Is there any crank case vent that goes to the inlet side of the turbo? If there is disconect it. Run the sled. If the intercooler fills up with an excessive amount of oil then you may have a problem with the turbo.

i'm not familiar with the plumbing on one of those, but if it is in fact the turbo seals you'll notice burned oil coming out of your exhaust. but if you have a recirculating bpv it's possible that it's just blowby. and if it is blowby you wont have to worry about it till it's really spittin it out.

the crankcase vent was spitting some out last year, im hoping that is just leftover oil. I disconected the crankcase vent that goes into the air intaken and will see if it the oil goes away

    here you go!

CPR front mount trail turbo w/pure logic box, wideband, boost/temp gauges. Currently setup @ 12lbs boost and this sled flies. Best of everything on this sled.

136" x 1" Hacksaw w/8" billet rear idlers. This sled was built by Rob Kroll @ Team Alpine in Grand Rapids, MI and he is one of the best in the biz on hi-performance sleds. His tuning and finish work is second to none. This is a very labor intensive project but well worth the end result which is an unbelievably reliable and very, very fast pump gas trail sled.

Sled is capable of making 310hp if turbo is turned up to full boost. 3 head gaskets were used to lower compression to handle the higher boost along with HD stud bolts.

$14,000.00 is asking price, if any questions please email: [email protected]
    or call Shayne 616-291-7904
