I frequent the Lotus forum often - here is a thread from there that I think we can all appreciate! http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f218/garage-pics-3735/ Sigh!
who says he will ever touch a tool, much less an impact wrench . I'd be suprised if that guy lifts a finger to armor all his own interior. ugh.
did you look at the link for the original thread... the guy pulled the engine out of his Ferrari in that garage... before he tiled it
Don't get me wrong, I like the tool box setup. But the tile is seriously over the top. Concrete with an epoxy finish is the way to go in normal circumstances. I like to be able to see what is on the floor. Drop a bolt, and sometimes a ckeckered floor can be a pain.
yea, IMHO your garage is (or should I say, "will be") my dream garage. just about everything a man could need. if money were no object, only thing I'd add was another stall with an AWD dyno. but that really is overkill.
overkill... WHY?? ha hah a... I wish.. but I think I would add another workshop out back of my house with a mandrel bender, huge press, a good milling setup, CNC router/lathe, a laser cutting machine, and huge brake and some other little toys... I found a bunch of these things on a bidding auction once... if only I had about $50K at the time I would have all that sitting in my house right now with NO room to work...
nate your garage looks awesome too. Everything I'd want. If I need a dyno I'll go spend the 60 bucks for 2 runs at a shop. Its not cost effective to have to buy and maintain that stuff unless you're running lots of other people's vehicles. Then it would be running a business out of residential and you'd have a lot of fun with the city.
yeah.. I can see this is gonna be a headache for me especially with Scott County... dealt with them building Meineke.. NOT FUN
which is exactly why I said "if money were no object".... oh yea, machine shop stuff. good call. that would be an awesome addition.
