You should see the video. This was last year during one of the BTCC support races (I suppose the Porsche guys would say the BTCC are their support races, but what do they know ?). I'll see if I can find it up on YouTube. It was all very dramatic, and involved a *very* brave cameraman, and the driver walked away with nary a scratch. But he did send a runner for a fresh pair of skivvies.

    Stuart.

Edit: Am I good, or what ? Found them on the first try...

    Having a crash...

The 959 was a technological wonder in 1987. Turbocharged, AWD, boxer. Sounds familiar.

until you had to buy a single part for it, which would cost half of what an STi costs.

    Damn porsche parts are expensive.

i like Porsche cars, but it just too many of them everywhere. If i were to get a sports car it would be something more exclusive.

Someone should slap you. Now. Repeatedly.

They make sports cars that people can drive everyday. High performance, awesome looks and reliability. Stick that in your Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romero, Lotus, and Aston Martin pipe along with the crack and keep puffing.

I would say this for Corvettes, but not Porsches. I rarely see them (more so now that I'm working in EP :)) But when I do they are usually Boxters...whoopy!

I rarely see a nice Porsche...

the neighborhood where I work, there really are tons of porches. It gets to the point where they aren't noticeable anymore.

But then again I saw a f430 drag race a Aston Martin this evening from my office window, so its not exactly the most normal neighborhood on earth.

This guy parked in front of me last night:

Lame link - aren't you in France yet? Land of Citroen - suck it. You and Taras must be neighbors or work where he lives. My neighborhood is a bunch of John Deeres so take it where you can get it.

There is a lot of Porches around, but most are boxters. But I'd take a nicely built Porche over just about any other car I can think of.

    Although I like a nice 70 early 80's 911 style the best.

But I always like how clean the lines have been on most of their models.

Yeah I am in France, I work on the Rue Georges V and the Champs Elysees, basically ground zero for moneyed Europeans and people with more cash than sense.

Porsche has the world's laziest car designers. Every few years they reshape one part of one car and call it a day.

just got done with my break, 1 gallardo, 1 maybach, 2 maseratis and an aston drove by while I smoked 1 cigarette. An F430 was parked a block away.

This is like exotic car paradise.

I still don't understand why people keep saying this? The new STi is better in so many ways. Subaru does not make the most attractive cars in the world, but they do make fairly inexpensive, dependable and easy to tune cars. Be happy your able to buy an STi or Evo over here, look at how many cars we have missed out on do to emissions.

personally..i have an extreme distaste for luxury sports cars the Porsche is nice i shall say..and very ****ing fast...but damn its so ugly lol and everyone of their models looks the same...i would buy a Porsche but i would buy a Subaru first
