unlocking cell phone

    anyone here knows how to unlock a samsung black jack 2 cell phone? my cousin canceled his att service and gve me the cell phone. i have t-mobile and i want the blackjack cell to work for my carrier. if anyone can help, thanks. send me a pm or somthing thanks.

    since your cousin no longer has at&t he probably cannot request the free unlock code from them. I used to work for T-Mobile. You are probably going to have the best luck with World of Wireless. Usually the carriers like at&t and tmobile will not provide you with the free unlock code from the manufacturer unless you have had service for at least 90 days and still have it at the time of the request. hope that helps

    and you may have had service with tmobile for more than 90 days, but since the blackjack isn't their phone, I don't believe they can do anything...I could be wrong though.

    google them...otherwise I know of one on Lyndale and Lake street in uptown, otherwise I believe there is one near midway or roseville on snelling or something. http://www.worldofwireless.com/

    be prepared to pay anywhere from 15 to 50 bucks, give or take. it depends on the model of the phone and how popular it is etc.
