Alright, I feel like an idiot now. I had this up earlier but I thought I had figured it out but I guess not. here is my situation:

I have just recently purchased a valentine one with a concealed display. I am looking for someone who has a volt meter that can find me a 12v wire by the steering column that is easily accessible. If any of you would just like to help me install this than post please cause I got no volt meter and no knowledge of wiring a WRX and dont wanna mess with it. So if you think you can help me out by telling me a wire I will try it. There is a free dinner to whoever helps me in finding the wire.

Thank you. What day could I see you to pick it up or use it. I was going through my car manual and I got one question. Would the wire going to the dome light be a switched wire or continous. Also would my guess be right that the blue wire would be positive and the black would be negative

I don't know the answer to the other Question.

Would it be possible to run a wire from the cigarette lighter and just conceal it?

Noah, going to the dome light is the reason why he's concealing it.

Ok, here are the wires I used for my remote start/alarm

    Constant 12v - white
    Ignition - green
    Accessory - yellow

If I remember correctly, if you start right at the key and followe the wires they go into a plug. Those colors are from the key cylinder to that plug. After the plug they all turn black. If you want, I could help ya out this weekend. I don't think I have anything going on. Also, those are the wire colors for a 02 wrx with a 4eat. I would still check them out with a dmm.

Exactly what I needed to hear. I would love to meet up with you this weekend so that you could actually show me how to do it and also how to do a little dis-assembly of the car in case I need to get to it myself. What day would work for you? Also I got a 4eat aswell but a 2003 but I dont think they can be that much different now can they. Also how do I take off the panel below my steering column. I found the two screws but it doesn't wanna pop off on the right side. Am I just not pulling hard enough or did I miss something?

Well these were the directions I found but guess what, the wires are different. Instead of a Black, White, and Blue set of wires I got a Black, Yellow, Brown set. Keep giving that info you think could help me cause I am stumped. Think I will be giving you a call wrx1. I will contact you later in the week.

Uh, I'll rather buy the parts at cost but it's better if you do the installation yourself... would you trust a high school kid with your car? Hehehehe.
