HAHA, I just beat Fallout 3 (PC) last night as a 'good guy'. Started playing Dead Space (PC) and its pretty damn good, graphics, controls, story. I abandoned my Farcry 2 (PC) game since it was so damn boring. I'm still debating if I want to scrape my pennies to get L4D though...trying to see if more of my friends are gonna pick it up....hmmm

Yeah I didn't care for FarCry 2 either, the level editor is nice but yeah pretty boring overall. Dead Space is sweet, one of the best new franchises this year. Gears of War 2 is really good also. But the world is a better place if everyone just buys anything that says Activision on it. ;)

+1 Ditch WoW, theres so many other good games out atm.

I am thinking about grabbing a 360 again this holiday season for Fable 2 and GoW 2. Farcry 2 has a bit too much going on imo, the enemy AI is pretty dumb too, they try to flank everytime and just fail.. But yes...everyone should play Dead Space...:eek3:

WoW's a nice time filler when the rest of the games out there are "meh"... but its christmas season now, plenty of other things worth playing.

I'm really enjoying Fallout 3, even though its a lot like Morrowind (or oblivion I guess, didn't play that one). Something about people screaming "oh *expletive deleted*!" after I leave a frag grenade in their pocket... :rockwoot:

I'll stick with neverwinter for my RPG games. I don't like to play those online, since in singleplayer you can have a life and STOP whenever you want to.

And i'll probably be playing L4D for a long time. I'll also be finishing up Silent Hill Homecoming for the 2nd time by Sunday. And that TombRaider. I'll play that as well.

Spoiler? Even if you do, the most annoying person in the town still lives.

I was so mad about that, when I went back to poke around the newly enlarged crater.

I did on one file, just to see what happened... but the other few I have are all neutral/good karma chars.

I think my favorite moment was fighting some Raiders at the drive-in movie place. There were 5 of them, all hunkered down behind cars ... I threw a grenade... all the cars cooked off.

I am 2 yrs clean of WoW with no intentions of starting again.

Fallout 3 does not have that great of an appeal to me. I am a huge fan of Fallout 2 (one the best RGPs ever made). I might look into getting the next tomb raider game, I havent played one of those in for ever, and the new one looks good. Also I am still tempted to pick up monster madness for some zombie killing fun.

I just don't get it. Doesn't that game have a "quit" option? I never understood why people waste their lives in front of the PC playing WOW when there are a ton of other games out there that they could play.

Or perhaps the result lies in the fact that it takes 400000 years to pretty much do ANYTHING in that game. So once you get past the loading screens to get into your zone, you gotta coordinate with people to take out "insert enemy that takes a long time to fight here" - and since people can't focus you spend most of your time chatting with them and/or telling them to shut the hell up and play the game.

Screw that, gimme a gun and some zombies.

you could look at it this way. you pay $15 a month to make sure that you dont spend any other money.

The game has its addicting parts. As to what they are I have no idea really, but they are addicting. All MMOs seem to have their addicting parts, some more than others but its still there. MMOs take over my life, it has happened more than once before, so now I avoid them. Good ole single player games and online FPSs like CoD4 are good for playing but not addictive enough to take over your life.

I cannot wait until FF XIII comes out for the PS3. I will spend too much time on that game, but atleast it has an end.

    And then there is GT5....
