for some reason my car has been running a little bit warmer lately. would it have anything to do with the cold air? i checked my coolant and my oil an they are both fine, any other sugestions?

perhaps it is something with the thermostat? how much warmer are you running?

interesting. i have no idea what it could be. again you might think about checkign teh thermostat, but it might be something small like if you have a bunch of leaves in front of your radiator or somthing.

when i first was running my RS hood w/ out vent covers my car was runnign almost 1 cm colder on my gauge. so if a vent cover did that to me it may not be a huge deal. probaby still should look into it though.

    good luck

I wouldn't trust the stock gauge. Ever since I installed my autometer water temp gauge, I realized how far off the stocker is (in a wrx). My stocker read normal at 120 degrees and it doesn't move (the cooling fans kick on at 215). I would see if you can borrow a ir temp reader and check it that way.

X10 i installed a sunpro water temp gauge...when the sunpro isnt even over 100 yet, the car's gauge is starting to creep between the middle and cold.

Well it will. All your fuel trims and such need to change for the dense air.

Check both radiator fans for functionality.
