Good thing to hear you are figuring it out now. I had a buddy who just found out his ex is pregnant with his kid. She even had the nerve to let him know that she found out from his friends he wasn't happy in the relationship, so before he broke it off, she poked holes in all of his condoms with a needle while they were still packaged, and quit using birth control for a few weeks. He just found out he owes her half of his current pay. Poor guy will be paying her $800 a month until she turns 65, or gets her ass married. Anyways, I just figure that might help. lol

yeah, locks changed=great idea. Its good that you're pissed. At least for me, its a lot easier managing anger than it is being sad about something. Not sure if it helps, but the best anger management I have found for the extreme situations is this: Grab a good wood bat. Go into woods and find a good grove of trees. Start swinging. Leave when you cant lift your arms, cant breathe, or the bat is in shards.
the other thing that I heard from tim's thread that seemed like great advice, is finish the paperwork, and completely cut her out. My dad did that after his divorce, and is going 5 years strong without a word, and without ever seeing her. Its worked wonders for his career, and well, he found my stepmom, who he adores. It gets worse before it gets better, but it does get better.
agreed, i found out when my first ex cheated on me i was sad for a bit and then realized i shoudn't be sad i didn't do anything and it made things very easy, on this one i was sad until i found out about the d-bag then the switch flipped and no more being sad. i hope the get everything done and finalized asap but i guess that depends on her, as she ingnores anyones calls. but i will be working on getting the ball rolling. have her take her **** and never talk to me again. i wish i could do the car thing now but i still need to get the house done, but now instead of being for a family it will be for the pimptastic bachelor pad :biggrin: hot tub room included :yumyum: i have started working out again to help ease my anger and that is helping a bit.

this situation reminds me a lot of what my ex did to me we were dating for 2 years only to find out the week she broke up with me she was cheating on me with one of her dude friends. Women do like home owners. If you can invite a girl back to your house and it's a good-looking pad that's way better than a nice car. When I was living in an apartment I saw neighbors driving newer BMWs, Mercs, and Jags and I'm sure that those cars may have made it seem like they were making money but then they'd bring them back to their apartment :laugh: Also the sob story of the wife cheating on you works well in bars when slipped into the conversation at the right time. I use it and I've never been married :biggrin:
Sorry to hear about that Ryan. That really sucks man. One thing to remember: This is going to hurt, and you should let it hurt. Trying to stuff it down a bottle or something along those lines isn't going to solve the problem (although it may help in the interim, YMMV) long term. It's going to take time getting through this, don't rush anything. I've seen my father go through 4 of these, they're never fun. If you need someone to talk to shoot me a PM. If anything, we'll have to get you down here for a range day to blow off some steam surrounded by friends. Hang in there man.

But at least it was black and white. sometimes I wish Sarah had just cheated on me so I could hate her and be done with it. instead it fell apart slowly over the course of 8 months. And even now, 4 months after the fact, I've got another girl, it still drives me nuts, because I still think she was a good person. Hang in there. thanks for all the support guys, i wish i had more dough to make it out and about more but i'm kinda screwed for a little bit anyways. i am hoping to get the divorce done in less than 2 weeks, i will have the paperwork by then(it's already in progress, spent alot of time on the phone today) but it's just rounding her up and get her to sign them. she still is ignoring everyone, she grabbed a few things this morning after i left for work, left me a note saying that she was sorry and that she knew she ****ed up and just didn't know what to do with her life. but she won't answer any calls or messages so it's kinda annoying that she is being so immature about it all. but now i'm gonna go change out my doorlocks so she can't come when i'm not here anymore.:biggrin:
That sucks! I am so sorry to hear about this. When I get super pissed, I find it helps to get away from it all for a bit. Go turn up the stereo and get some work done (car or house). You could always throw some more boost at the green LX again.
