What does 'bump' mean?

I see it all the time in forums. What the heck does it mean?

 

When a thread is replied to, it goes back to the top of the list of threads. So you have "bumped" it back up.

Would you believe I'm/we're still unpacking?!
It's not as easy to unpack with a baby and a tired mom to take care of.

Soon though, I'm going to get the whole place in tip top shape first. We get to paint! :I (It's exciting to me so don't make fun)
The guest bath is done with an Egyptian theme and our room's purple and the baby's will be a light green and our bath is gonna be a light blue.

We'll probably end up having like 3 different parties. One for the fam, one for those who helped (and offered to ) and one for our other, rowdier friends. Don't worry, you'll be informed when I inform Vic. To help us plan though, do you drink? What do you like/dislike?
