What to look for?

    Hey my friend is looking to buy a used wrx. Hes thinking a 04 or 05. What should he look for when he buys it. I dont really know what to tell him because i bought mine new. Any help would be great.

    smoke?? missing heat shields (around turbo) or signs they have been on and off, tire wear, check all fluids for colour & condition (tell if last owner maintained or not), clutch feel..., signs of body repair....

    well i work at morries brooklyn parl subaru, i think i could find him one that would be in good shape. what does he want to spend?

    don't buy a black 02 with a sti v2 front lip, sti hood scoop, sti suspension, etc... nvm they already sold it.

    btw are you the guy who sold it at morries?
