So, I'm in the kitchen cooking a big'ol pot of red beans for Xmas eve and I was wondering what other folks are making or planning on eating. For me, one of the best parts of the holidays is the food...SO, what'chu cookin'? :yumyum:
I am with my wife's family... so a bit of American and a bit of Chinese. Turkey, Won-Tongs, Wine and a bunch of other goodness.
RIBS and HAM...two of the best things in the world. Well, I guess they are siblings of BACON. :yumyum:
had some homemade raviolis that my mom made, with my moms heirloom stewed tomatoes, with some homemade baguette (I made).... god i love Xmas dinner
Gonna make some lefse tomorrow. And a big 'ole Honeybaked ham for dinner. :yumyum: Our work gives us a $50 gift certificate for Honeybaked Ham every year, so I just go in and ask for a $50 ham  .
It turned out to be delectable. Nothing like cooking beef with over a liter of red wine. And some cognac lit on fire. The recipe was close to Julia Child's.... Bon appetite!
