So, I'm in the kitchen cooking a big'ol pot of red beans for Xmas eve and I was wondering what other folks are making or planning on eating. For me, one of the best parts of the holidays is the food...SO, what'chu cookin'?

Our tradition is huge lobster tails for Christmas Eve dinner. They are waiting in the freezer... :)

Our work gives us a $50 gift certificate for Honeybaked Ham every year, so I just go in and ask for a $50 ham  .

It turned out to be delectable. Nothing like cooking beef with over a liter of red wine. And some cognac lit on fire.

The recipe was close to Julia Child's.... Bon appetite!
