    HOLY CRAP! I've seen the bearings seize before, but that actually broke a chunk out of the block when it went.


    This happened the day after buying the poopenvagon years ago:

    luckily the EA82 is non-interference. so a new pulley and new belt, and it was up and running the next day. Unfortunately I don't think you'll be so lucky. Looking at the chunk of aluminum that broke off with it......That's going to be very difficult to repair without replacing the engine.....

    That's what I was kind of thinking it was. But I was trying to think positive. Well, two engines down. I don't really know if I should try #3
