Man, I need to stop driving like a jackazz. Car's still new (53xx miles, 06 wrx tr) but lowest was ~17.5 mpg (lots of wot) and highest was ~25.5 mpg (all highway). Last fill up was 19.9xmpg...

I got just under 30 the other weekend - all hwy, 205miles on 7 gallons, with the wind, cruise on. didn't baby the accel too much. I was impressed. oh, that's with 235/40/17yoko's and AP stage 1.

I average about 24 going 60 miles each way, the worst I got was about 20 and the best 30. Although it just wasn't worth driving slow enough to get 30, I would say my average speed is around 78.

I'm getting 24-26 MPG on my 2.5i (still less than 5K miles) -- about 80% Highway miles.

My lowest was 17.3 MPG. That was a fun gas tank. Have yet to go over 26 MPGs though.

Wow, I might as well get a wrx, I usually get about 25-26 in the city, but I think I could get better if I really took it slow. Up to 30 on the highway, although I hardly ever do any highway miles, most of my commute is done in the first three gears.

um 21city 29hwy is good for a V6. And you'd get better milage if you didn't drop the hammer all the time.

That is when a good driver is driving and those of you who know me I am not the best driver. So instead of 28-29 on the highway it is like 24-25 on the highway and like 15 in the city.

hmm back when the car was stock, i had it full (tetris style full) with 2 people and managed 30 mpg on the highway. normal driving was around 24-26. highest i ever got was 32mpg.

now that i am boosted i am getting roughly 18mpg on or off boost.

I do about 19-20 when in town only. On the highway the best I cracked was 24-25. However, after going to Stage I, I went to IL and back running 80+ and I averaged 27-28. That's the best I have EVER gotten. But still...

    WTF?

Hasn't hurt my hwy milage, but city driving has dropped the mpg into the teens whereas before I would average low 20s city. Much more fun to drive though, Advantages outweigh disadvantages!

well if we're talking racing, I sit between 6-8mpg

and I cant have less than a half tank of gas becuase my fuel pump is on the right side of my gas tank and it starved for fuel on hard left turns. way to go suby engineers!

I've been keeping better track now and come up with 16-19 in town and 24-26 on the highway.

Yes, I'm driving a bit hard in town.....but that's why I bought this car...

Well, with the stock ecu and the utec I was always around 25-26 city and 30-31 highway. Now with the partialy tuned ap and utec, I am about 22-24 city and only 27-28 highway. Looks like I need to get my car tuned.

What terrible MPG! I get better than that racing my 6R!

Still, better than an M1 tank. They get like 2 GPM (.5 MPG). ;)

I get about 290 miles out of a tank of gas. It works out to about 23 mpg by my calculations. Mostly highway driving between Dunwoody and Infiniti.

ha @ the 73,415th ever thread about Subarus and mileage

Cliffs notes: we all get high teens to upper 20's depending on conditions, just like everyone has for years now.

These threads would be interesting if someone hit upon a solution to eke out 40 or 50 mpg, but until then ^^^ Cliffs notes.
