Will this fit my 00's RS?

17x7, Bolt pattern is 5x100, Offset is 38 with 225/45/17 without rubbing or any issue?

    Thx,

    John

it'll fit. I bet it'll rub on the fenders. My 17x8 +48 RUB the fenders. Those wheels with that offset will sit VERY CLOSE to my 17x8 +48 when you put it on the car.

Would it make a different if I run with other tires?

    Maybe 205 50 17?

    I am clueless in wheels...

If you step down to 215 width, you'll probably be OK.

I have 225/45-17 Azenis on 17x7.5 +48 Rotas. They rubbed a bit last year when the car was filled with four fat blokes and taken out on the AutoX course. I don't seem to suffer the same issues when it's just me in the car. But I also have upgraded springs. YMMV.

those WILL rub!!! at one point i tried running 17x7s with 215/45 17 +42 konigs with kumho tires, and the rears were rubbing that little strip of liner that is on the inner lip. We met at LAX cruise last year 2000 brp coupe on p1 springs and gr2s with 17x7 +53 p1 rims and 215/45 17 kumho tires. 225/45 17 tires depending on the design will rub against your struts with P1 rims. i know cause i have tried and it did. You thinking of upgrading i see. what are you goin to do with your stockers???

Yeah, I am thinking about upgrading. I find a good deal on some 17's but I don't know if I should get them because of the rubbing..:ugh:
