I got the bug to finally paint my wheels. what colro should i paint them? i was thinking bronze but i will open it up to discussion. i wanna use spray paint so the color options are limited. most likely down to black, gunmetal, bronze, gold. it is too hard to find a high quality jdm green, cherry blosom red, or blaze orange so those are out. (sry all) oohh and heres what it would look like w/ gold (kinda)
id say either black or gunmetal. black is almost always a safe bet, but im personally a fan of the gunmetal....
How about matte black. I am assuming you want to stay on the cheap? I am looking at powdercoating mine soon.
ya, i want to stay on teh cheap side. i will be shopping around for some OEM 6 or 5 spokes for winter. so i dont wanna put too much $$ into these wheels. i like the way black looks but everyone does black/gunmetal. gold seems too bright imo. thats why i was leanign towards bronze. IDK though. any color is possible now.
Get a bright Neon Pink. Or if you want to be Uber cool, find some glow in the dark neon green! Ninja Turtle style, ooooze.
Every now and then, I think about the benefits of having black painted wheels. Then I think about the negatives. Then I do nothing. Then I come here and post about my thoughts. Dynapar, I think the light gold on the photo looks great.
Fong.... A sexy 5-7 spoke 17" or if ur crazy(which we all know u are) 18" Gunmetal would look georgous on ur beast.
^^I know it totally would, but I'm just not ready to invest $1000 into new wheels and tires. If I just paint them, they'll last a couple years (just enough time to talk myself into getting bigger wheels :biggrin: )
