Wheel Studs

    ok, i have a spare set of steelies with no so good tires on them. I was throwing the idea around of studding them up. a while back i had read a write up on how to do this and what to use. Anyone know what write up i am talking about or have one?

    I know what write you are talking about but i have not been able to find it again.

    they used liek 1.5" bolts washers and lock nuts. punched them through and sharpened the bolts. then put LOTS of tire goo inside, and did NOT balance them.

    1/4-20 x 1.5" hex bolts
    1/4-20 nylon insert locking nuts
    1/4" fender washers (one on each side of the tire)
    1/4" flat washers (one on each side of tire)

    We just ordered enough for 12 tires. (bulk ftw)
