Sweet! Write a full review in 6 weeks when you tear an mcl/lcl from it No, I'm looking forward to picking one up... and REALLY hoping more titiles utilize it as a foot controller.
There was confirmation that some skateboarding game was going to utilize the Wii Fit board...I want to say it was Tony Hawk, but not sure on that.
besides, since it's bluetooth i'm sure you can come up with some neat DIY projects for using it with your computer
let me know what you guys think. My wife wanted a tread mill - I shot that down. Then she read some article about the Wii Fit, I thought I would get some feedback before I went and dropped the $ for a system. Thanks!!!
I threw my back out playing Wii Tennis. Well, not really, just aggravated an existing injury. There was a guy who did an experiment with the Wii. He played for 30 minutes a day, didn't change anything about his diet or other activities, and he lost (iirc, this is all from memory) 10 pounds in a month, just from the exercise of playing Wii Sports. (again iirc) he was in his mid 20's and decently active and fit even beforehand. Wii Fit sounds more like it's oriented towards people who want to do balance and yoga-type exercises (though not limited to those). The Wii is fun. It's cartoony, and I'd rather have an Xbox360 if it was just me, but it's not like I'm looking to play GTA:IV while hanging with the 3 yr old anyhow (and yes, I know you can get GTA for Wii, but most of the games are much more kiddie in nature).
did the setup for the wii fit and my age was 5 wii years younger than my age. my son came out 15 wii years older thatn his actual age he has gotta workout!!
It's a lot of fun. Picked mine up today, but didn't get to playing it until tonight cuz I was cleaning up the Forester. First impression.... I'm way out of shape.
