I have a 99 Legacy SUS i picked up in January. One thing that's not terrible but has been bothering me lately, especially with all this rain, are my windshield wipers.

They aren't consistent. I say that in the sense of when the driver blade reaches it's peak it sometimes goes off the windshield and doesn't go back down all the way (almost), other times it will be a few inches from the rubber and when it comes time to go back down it slams with a noticeable thud on the bottom, and other times it's normal. On just a normal drive (20 min) it will do all of these "patterns" randomly.

    I don't even know where to start...:emo:

Check the nut that holds it in the splines. If it's loose it may be moving back and forth a few notches.

You might need a doctor, not a mechanic...
