Still hit or miss in Saint Paul. About 1.5" accumulation, and it's finally coming down fairly well. Maybe I'll run some errands in a couple hours....:yumyum:
We've got a ton of ice down here, power was out for about an hour or two a little while ago. I'm really surprised it came back on, considering how the ice just keeps collecting. I'd say it's around 1/2" thick on my deck railings. Now it switched to snow, or at least something close to it. Switches back to sleet every so often. I tried snowblowing the driveway this morning (had about 3" already), and my piece of crap snowblower clogged about every 5 minutes. Finally got it done, and now it's covered in ice. If we get 15-20" of this heavy snow like the forecast says, it's gonna take me a whole day to get it cleaned off. Edit: Some ice pictures, notice how much ice there is on the side of the rain gauge.
wOot...we're getting it pretty good here north of the metro (Ramsey/Coon Rapids/Blaine)...time to go eat up some snow!
i just came back from a drive - i saw zero other wrx/sti's out on the roads. boooo! i did see an outback wag and an L wag lol.
I just watched 3 people push a honda out of the snow behind my apartment. It took 3 people to do it. Then they had to push it up the hill too - just too funny. We have only gotten about 4 inches ..... I haven't gotten stuck yet I am going to be staying in tonight :laugh: It's perfect movie time!

I'm lucky my car is still in one piece. Summer tire's FTL. They get you going well enough, but I almost slid into 3 intersections all within a 5 mile stretch and had a good 2-3 blocks to stop while going a max of 50. Thank god for freeways. Stopping power was non-existant. I had to drive to my mom's in Eagan from Greenfield to paint, took a good 3-5 years off of my life clock. I wasn't representing Subaru's AWD too well either, lol. Course i'm :emo: on the inside
Lol! I know a few people that put their summer tread on and they are all now :crying: on the inside!!! I left mine on because I figure we got a few more good ones left in us come March!!! Oh yeah, plus I only have three out of 4 rims with tires... Can't wait for LegacyPGT's GB for summer tires!!!
hey carl didnt you have 5 spokes on before? I didnt even get out tonight. Im too lazy to brush the car off. Our coldesac doesnt usually get plowed for about 3 days after the snow so i will be sure to get out tomorrow.

weee! just drove around for a good hour with a little sideways action. also went around my block about 8 times. there is a nice little hill to go up and it was just effortless. i love it.
yea i did some tire swapping. took the potenzas off my bbs's, put the winters on the bbs's, put new falkens on the old 5 spokes and put those on my dad's FXT. waiting for my new wheels to arrive and then i'll put the potenzas on those.
man..just got back from being out with the firestone/spring street crew. good times for sure. i just love going about twice the speed as everyone else on the highway lol
i havent looked out there lately to see whats goin on... but i've heard the thunder a few times... or the loudest plow scraping sound ever!
