    ^^^ It could be worse!

They haven't plowed our neighborhood and I think we have two feet drifted in spots in our cul-de-sac! Subie power baby!

I watched a civic get stuck trying to turn around last night... :lollollollol:

I literally watched him go back 10 feet and forward 10 feet trying to go about a total of a half a block or so to get to a side street... I decided to go out and show him what AWD can do and just drove right by him with no sweat! Then I drove up an down the street to only come back and he was officially stuck! Of course I had to help him out and give him a push, so my roommate and I pushed him back to the road otherwise he probably would have never got out!

"Silly little Civic... Tricks in the snow aren't where Hondas are supposed to go!"

yeah theres 2 feet of drifted snow on our road also. No sign of a plow at all. Don't know if I should risk going through it or not. These damn RE92's have no traction. I think I'll make it. Right? hahah

the plow did the same to me too! I got up extra early so i could play in the streets and just as i start brushing the car off he comes and pushes all the snow infront of my driveway. So i subaru plow through it and busted my front license plate and hopefully nothing else. It was great driving around through the snow and watching everyone else shovel their cars out. haha

I honestly had no idea how well this car would go through the snow! 4 foot snow pile at the end of the girlfriend's street was no problem what so ever, my old VW would have caused me an angry heart attack with it's getting stuck every 3 feet. Now my life is much more serene...

The plows have buried my car in the parking lot. Its hard to plow a parking lot when there are cars there - so I gotta dig out my car. Perhaps I should take a picture first.

*really wishes she had a garage*:banghead:

My RE92's did well last night...although there is an additional 6-8 inches down now. I'll go out later today and let you know how it goes... I wanna get some good snow pics!

Why isnt it snowing anymore? I thought it was supposed to for the next few days. All the untouched parking lots are blocked by huge snowbanks next to the road.

They were all stuck!! lol I just cruzed right by while they looked at me wondering what kind of car I was driving. Its a SUBARU!!!

+1 about Saint Paul streets. I got my GF's Taurus stuck twice moving it around the block. Subaru awd ftw.

just went for a little drive around St. Paul - all of the main roads were clear (so was the mississippi river blvd s sadly - i like that road when it's snowy lol)

sidestreets were laughable - everyone was out there shoveling their cars out. looks like it's snowing again

Man, what a pain in the ass clearing the snow this morning. wunderground said we had 13", and we got 4-5 tonight when another band of snow came through. Had to break out the snowblower again. Here's a couple pics my wife snapped this morning.

    Mailbox:

    I hate this snowblower:

Yay, ~4' drift at the end of the driveway. I gave up with the snowblower and shoveled it by hand:

Wife got a call from work today, of course the server didn't come back up after the power went out (****ty battery backup). So we hopped in the 9-2x and drove the 15 miles to her office, all county highway. Man this car is great. The roads were all slushy, but every time I looked down I was going 60+. It's like I was driving in a little rain or something. When we came back home, someone had even managed to put their car in the ditch a few minutes after we went through the first time. And I thought the roads were fine. :)

Wow, the side streets in Saint Paul are still completely unplowed. Not to bad getting to work, but I wish I would've had some more time to tool around...maybe after work!

I am in agreement. There is always one storm that makes me sick of winter. It usually is the last one. So much for the "drought" they were talking about
now our ground is going to be saturated and they'll complain about that too.

Yeah. I'm ready for longer days and bright sun again. And rainstorms.

I hear a plow for the front of a subaru in the making erik.

I plowed 3 driveways yesterday with the tractor at my work, and man there was a lot of snow to move. I ran out of diesel before I finished the last one, so thats where I'm headed.

Went up Ridgewood off Lyndale by the tunnels. It was pretty steep and not plowwed at all. What a blast going through all that thick crap. Some guy walking up the street watched me go all the way up. Looked like he was thinking "how the hell is he going up through that"... hehehe. I bet there would be no way in my old Mazda that I could have gottne up that.

I did some pretty funny things in my old mazda before ... but that would not have been one of them.

You would have gotten halfway and then it would have slid and you'd have got stuck sideways. This i am quite sure of. IF you were even able to get up it a tiny bit without the wheels slippin and slidin every which way
I did like that little car though .. it had it's moments ... and people always thought it was a sleeper

Must of been easy moving subarus. Damn Hondas dont wanna move 2 feet in the snow. They were still plowing our lot when I was leaving work at 4:30. I drove by your lot today and it was cleaned out already. Oh and I like the new SUBARU WOOSH sign 30 feet in the air at the dealership.

we moved and plowed our entire inventory as well yesterday. 8 hours with 7 guys two of whom cannot drive stick. Today is my day off and I'm very sore from busting the Subarus, Jeeps, Mazdas and Chryslers out of the 3ft snow drifts.

Did have a nice big ice lot where my sales manager and I had races in our subarus as to who could get to one of the lot and back first...it was a best of 3. Although I won.......21-15. Thats best of three right?
