These take me to Funkytown. Or possibly Bonerland. To comment on the OP's post, I'm not a big fan of this newest super-ricey trend of a minimalist, relocate-everything engine compartment. I want to see the engineering. Show cars that have the primary concern on aesthetics hold zero appeal for me.
The wiring is all done so that sections of the wiring can be removed and replaced. There isn't a giant loom of wires, each wire goes to one sensor or device. I'm kicking myself for not snatching up fist fulls of mil-spec watertight connectors while I was in the Navy. Those things were everywhere. And I could have made all kinds of kickass wiring harnesses with them.
I wish I could get my hands on some of that wire from Raychem they use. Light weight, high current, and heat resistant for only $365 a roll.
