    Quietkid's Wrx Video/Build Thread

    So I thought I'd put together a short video of my wrx, after it took 2 months to build. So, here's the results of alot of work. Thanks to ej22tim, snowbum and slobright. Untuned running at 9psi on a Forced Performance 16g evo3.

    Turn up your speakers!!!;)

    Btw, just so no one gets uptight about this. This was filmed late at night with no one around. It's not something I do everyday.

    The hush is a lot quieter and I think a dual tip, but I may be wrong

    With how fragile 2.0s are i wouldnt beat that thing too much till you get a real tune.

    thats just the steering wheel ^ lol

    yea this thing is on 9psi with 650s.... RS motors wouldnt tune it even though it was on the Fing dyno, all they did was trim the injectors because they were behind schedule? they lost a customer thats for sure.

    I won't, in fact I'm not really driving it til' I get tuned. Btw, it looks like I will probably have to go back to rs to get one:(

    have you tried to hit up bullwinkle? He tuned my 690cc inj, 16g, 2.0l.....and it drives very nice..and fast!:yumyum:

    Exact quote-That's outside of what I have time to tune this fall. I've got a full time job that is busy this time of year, and will only be tuning basic stage 2/2+ cars for the foreseeable future.

    I can see that for sure. He's uber busy and it took maybe 3.5+ hours (approx.) to tune mine.

    You should give ron another chance. but you should schedule a tune with with him so he has time. Yeah he just trimmed your injectors but tuning the whole thing could take 3 hours or more

    nothing against ron at all, its just when we left we told them no matter what needs to be done to get it tuned just do it, money isnt a problem. they drove the car 3 feet and said the brakes were dragging (which they were) and wouldnt touch it. :roll:

    I am all for him going back, it was just a really bad 1st experience

    I thinks I have one like that too! When I first saw 15psi and heard the turbo noises..... I was like "uueeeeEEEE!!!!"
