hey everyone, Got my blazer sold and its looks like scuba steves car is selling soon so Im now in need of a wrx!!! im looking for anything in between the years of 02-05 with preference on a peanut eye but it all depends, I'm keeping an open mind. Colors are optional, looking to stay away from red, silver, and white. A 6-speed swap is a huge plus. Nothing to crazy but minor mods wouldn't hurt. Looking to pick something up soon so if anyone knows of someone or has a friend looking to get a wrx off their hands, Please let me know!! thanks for your help!! Drew
im good friends with drew... just had to put no white it in its own post so no one throws my thread in there. :laugh: i will be helping him do whatever he ends up doing to whatever wrx he gets... the back up option is we fly to georgia and drive one he's been eyeing up, back to MN. its already got a 6 speed in it! he prefers black then blue.... ive been on the hunt for solutions so he doesnt lose his mind.

Has some mods, but seems nice and is a color you like
Knock at idle? Or you can only hear it at idle? Also, cars mechanically knock at idle, idle knocking typically isn't caused by tuning. And a noisy LSD isn't a cheap fix really. Assuming it is the LSD. I would avoid that car if you can.
Huh, yeah, I dont know a whole lot yet about how the wrx motors are supposed to sound... It seemed to only knock at the idle... But the more I think about it 10k is a lot for a car like that... Take what you will, just on the look out for ya!
hey thanks guys Yeah i've seen that one floating around on nasioc. Knocking is never good in any car at any point in time... either means low oil which isent good or just issues with the the heads all together or worse.. plus that one seems to be "riced" out IMO. No offense to anyone who might like that but the only exterior mod i want is wheels.. everything else is about pure driving experience. I use to own a 300zx TT but had to sell it to pay bills... car was amazing.. but now I just need something more practical to the state i live in. Hey man, Def would consider something like that. I am able to do all the work myself so replacing a clutch is no big deal.. Keep me posted or PM me with details and pics or what ever And regards to those vids.. almost sounds like piston slap or something.. which is weird cuz i dont see an engine build and the car only has 34K on the clock... all signs point to sketchy! but who am I to judge..
