yeah i might get it and swap my wrx motor in it and whatever i can put in it from my previous wrx i had just crashed.

i wouldnt give him more than 3500 for it. no matter how you look at it. imprezas/outback sports are base model cars. granted the engines run forever but its already got 170k. even though the timing belt, clutch etc. has already been done that doesnt add to the value of the car its just routine matinence (sorry cant spell). just look it over and if you know someone that is really good with cars (mechanic or a really-really car tech-savvy person) i would have them go with you to look at it for stuff you would miss.

Check it out, then bid on it on ebay, I doubt anyone will give more than 3k for it there and that way you'll have some protection against it blowing engine or tranny the day after sale.
