new carpet sounds like a novel idea. Mine is also thrashed. If upholstery shampoo and the brush doesn't fix it this spring, I may have to do this too.

mine is beyond that now....it's fading from the years of salt and wear. I'll let you know if I find a good source/deal.

A buddy of mine works an upholstery shop in Minneapolis. I can buzz him and get a price quote for a new carpet. You may be out of a carpet for a week or two while he mocks it up.

I'll be re-trying this with 3M spray adhesive. I was informed that the spray glue that we used was insufficient.

If I perfect the process, I will offer to do members headliners and trim pieces.

And Jason, about 80% of mine stayed attached. I think that with the proper adhesive, we could get it done.

Oooo, bump for Dave needing carpet. sry.

I'm interested in what the upholstery guy wants to make new carpet. I'm pretty sure I can't get factory fresh twill...

looks like there's a good amount of interest in brians guy. Brian include me in that pricing, i'm sik of searching for carpet. I'd want black if the price is right.

maybe some sort of group discount since we have a few people wanting this?
