Hey guys, I don't spend too much time on this board but I will be soon. I bought Andrew's WRB WRX last October. Well I was up at the power cruise event at BIR in July and I got a little too comfortable on the track. Stupid mistake, didn't get off to let the car cool down hardly at all and after an hour and a half straight, I ended up with the awesome rod knock. So the car will be pulled apart and going back together as a "hybrid" build. First thing up on that list is a 257 short block. Does anyone know someone looking to get rid of one, or where do you recommend picking one up from? Thanks!
i currently have one on my car right now and is will to sell it, but the catch is something is wrong with one of the cylinders and i'm also looking for a 03 wrx block with nothing wrong with it, but what it needs is a probably a rebuild and might need to get it bored or maybe just honed, not actually sure myself but?
